Why didn't the queuer get the prompt to enter their mobile number?

When the SMS prompt does and doesn't appear.

The SMS phone-number prompt only appears when the queuer has more people ahead of them in the queue than your SMS threshold. If only a few people were already ahead when they joined (fewer than the threshold), they’re past the point where SMS is useful, so the prompt is skipped.

In Flowby admin, open the queue and look at the SMS notification settings. The threshold can be disabled, set to notify when it is the queuer’s turn, set to notify when the queuer is first in line, or set to notify when the queuer has one person ahead.

What the queuer can still do

If the queuer wants an SMS even though the prompt didn’t appear, they can:

  • Tap the bell icon at the top right of their queue view to bring up the prompt manually.
  • Wait. If more people join behind them and the queue lengthens, the prompt may appear if the queue is reordered (rare).
