What happens if the queuer closes their browser?

The queuer keeps their place in the queue.

Nothing. The queuer keeps their place. The queue lives on Flowby’s servers; the browser is just a window onto it. Closing the tab doesn’t cancel the position.

The way back is to re-open the original browser tab. The URL contains the queuer’s queue-number ID, so loading it again drops them straight back into their queue view. They can find it via:

  • Browser history
  • A bookmark, if they made one
  • The original tab if they only minimised, didn’t close

Worth telling queuers up front: if they expect a long wait, bookmark the queue page or pin the tab.

The only way for a queuer to actively leave the queue is to tap the Leave queue button.
